Sisters Retreat : Universal Orlando

I've been home for two weeks now and looking over all the photos is making me seriously want to go back. I loved every minute of it! Here is a little peek into the fun had by me and my sisters while visiting Universal Studio's.

The main attraction for us was by far The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Everything was detailed and so well done, we were all very impressed. Our favorite ride was the Castle.

You got to tour the Castle before getting on the ride. It was pretty dark so the only good picture I got was the last one of the talking portraits.

The quaint Village of Hogsmede beckoned us on with the smell of butter beer in the air and lots of fun shops to explore.

Here I am in front of the sweet shop Honeydukes.

I loved everything about the fun store. Hot pink and lots of chocolate what more can a girl ask for! The whimsical design was really fun.

All Aboard the Hogwarts Express!

Ron's runaway flying car.

Hagrids Hut

Amazingly talented Frog Choir.

Topped off with Reservations for Brunch at the Three Broomsticks!

This was the view from the Three Broomsticks across the lake to the other half of the park.

The Hulk and The Towers of Doom!!!

The rest of the time was spent tapping into our inner child and having fun goofing off!

Just in case you didn't get enough sisterly fun here are a few more random out takes just because!

Thanks Universal for such a lovely time and thanks to my sisters for starting such a fun tradition!

Only 716 days until our next Sisters Retreat, but who's counting?

Avoidance...

Have you ever got so behind on something that you start to avoid it and pretend like it isn't there?

I have a lot of catching up to do with about 7 blog posts floating around in my head. I know I'm pretty lame, I create blog post's in my mind while changing diapers or washing dishes. But, every time I sit down at the computer I get overwhelmed with the 100's of pictures to be sorted through I generally just ignore it all and look at pretty things on pinterest.

Not any more though I am going to get back on the band wagon starting with Sisters Retreat. My goal is to have a complete post done by the end of the weekend.

Wish me luck!

Beatiful Weather + Brandon's Day Off

= Fun day at the ZOO!

Friday Brandon's boss told him not to worry about coming in to the office. That day we were enjoying a nice cold front that allowed us to open the windows and give our a/c a much needed break. Trying to decide what we should do, Donaven piped up and suggested the zoo. Brandon and I met eyes, why not I suggested, it'll be fun. It was settled and we were off.

Emerson was so fun to watch exploring the zoo for the first time using his new walking skills.

The boys really enjoyed feeding the birds...

until this huge white Macaw starting squawking really loudly making all the birds swarm around us. We decided it was time to check out the other animals at that point.

The most loved exhibit of all was definitely the penguins. We probably watched them eating, and playing for about 30 mins.

Then the camera died but you get the idea. We hope the fall weather is here to stay and really enjoyed welcoming it together as a family out having fun!
