Brandon won tickets at work for the whole family to go to the rangers game over the weekend. I tried to prepare the boys all week for the crowds, noise and hopefully fun. We put on our patriotic colors and headed off to Dallas.
Brandon was pretty eager to catch a fly ball but he settled for an Emerson instead...

Our seats were really nice. Behind first base and not in the sun.

Donaven did a lot better than I thought he would. He even started cheering for the rangers and getting into the game.

It was enjoyable until about the 7th inning. It was tied and stayed that way until the 14th inning, at about 11:30pm. I count myself as a pretty good fan. But a girl can only take so much and 4 hours of baseball with young children was my limit! That was the longest game I had ever been to. But it was worth the long wait. There was a really amazing firework show after wards.
It was a splendid start to a memorable Memorial Day weekend...
